Things you should know before booking services
In-studio appointments can be requested online up to 30 days in advance. Appointments are opened on the 15th of each month for the upcoming month. Example: April calendar is opened for booking March 15th.
Every online appointment request requires a review for approval. The review for your request can take up to 48 business hours. Deposits are only taken from the card once your request is approved, deposits are not taken automatically at the time you complete the request. Please do not book with a card that is pre-paid, has a hold or block or insufficient funds. If we are unable to withdraw the deposit for your request, the next appointment in line will be reviewed. You will get a text confirmation and receipt of deposit taken once approved. If for whatever reason we are unable to accommodate your request, you will get a text as well.
There is a booking retainer fee that will go toward your appointment balance. Retainers/ Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to a new date, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Retainers/Deposits are non-refundable and non- transferable to a NEW DATE. If you book an appointment and need to change the date of your appointment, you will forfeit that deposit. A new deposit will be required to book a new date.
You will be notified by text messages or email with a confirmation link and receipt of your deposit. No deposit, no approval means that there is no appointment confirmed. If you have not received a response in 48 business hours- please send us a follow up text.
Please go online to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, you are responsible for 100% of the remaining balance.
In-Studio Prices are subject to change with holidays or special events. Ex: New Years Eve, Valentine, Christmas rates may increase due to high demand for services.
COVID 19 Policy
Please DO NOT BOOK an appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to covid. Also if you are experiencing any cold like symptoms, fever blisters are other medical issues that can be contagious to the artists or others, please cancel your appointment. However, booking polices will still apply. Upon arrival to the studio, you are required to wash your hands. Proper Sanitation & disinfecting procedures will continue to be exercised to ensure a safe and sterile environment for my clients. We have limited seating for clients being serviced. Please do not come to your appointment with a group of people.
*IMPORTANT: If you decide to book an appointment during a pandemic and you need to cancel due to your health- Covid symptoms, unexpectedly exposed to covid or because your event was cancelled due to Covid ordinances you are still held to the booking policy- cancellation rules still apply. If this does not work for you, I would suggest not booking services during the pandemic uncertainties.
If you are late for your appointment, a $20 late fee may apply after 15 min or your appointment may be subject to cancellation.
CHARGE BACKS/ DISPUTED PAYMENTS
Clients that have charge backs for deposits and/or for services rendered will be accessed a $35 dispute fee in addition to the amount owed. Glam by Cham or The Glam Lounge has the right to refuse future services.
Our Studio has an adult-friendly environment please be mindful of our NO KIDS policy. Please limit the number of third parties you bring with you, as studio seating is limited to those getting services. PLEASE COME WITH A CLEAN FACE NO MAKEUP residue, mascara residue and groomed eyebrows or facial hair such as lip. PLEASE be mindful of phone usage while artist is working on your face.

1. HOW DO I GO ABOUT BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT?
You can book an in studio appointment online. You can complete the questionnaire on the website to get a quote and check availability for weddings or any other services.
2. HOW LONG DOES THE MAKEUP APPLICATION TAKE?
Appointment times will vary depending upon desired look and person but on average, full face makeup applications take approximately 45-60 mins. Bride applications take approximately 60 mins. Please be mindful of a full-face application time when inquiring about large parties and wedding events. An assistant is recommended for larger parties or if there is a time constraint- for an additional fee.
3. DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
Clients are not required to bring any items to their appointment. However, If you have a specific type of lash or foundation you prefer you are welcome to bring it with you as an option. Please make sure you arrive with a clean face, no makeup. You are encouraged to bring images with you to illustrate your desired look for your makeover.
4. DO YOU OFFER “EYES ONLY” APPOINTMENTS?
We are artists in the true sense. It's our belief that providing our clients with partial makeup applications compromises our artistry. In an effort to provide each client the Glam by Cham experience, we no longer offer "eyes only" appointments. Each makeover can be customized to light or full coverage.
5. DOES THE MAKEUP APPLICATION INCLUDE LASHES?
Yes, a complimentary natural lash is included and recommended to make your look complete but is not required. 3D Mink Lashes can be purchased for that girl that wants to take her look to the next level
6. DOES GLAM BY CHAM PROVIDE MAKEUP LESSONS?
Yes. Glam by Cham offers both individual and group lessons and classes. Please contact us for more details and pricing information.
7. DO YOU TRAVEL FOR APPOINTMENTS?
Primarily all makeup services are performed in studio but travel is available for an additional cost. Friday - Sunday travel is ONLY available for events, groups and bridal parties. Please send an email with date, time and location for all travel requests, pricing varies.
8. DO YOU TRAVEL OUT OF STATE AND OVERSEAS FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes, Glam by Cham has traveled across the country and internationally for destination weddings and events. Travel and Lodging are required at clients expense. Email for a quote.
9. IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO RESERVE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes. All studio appointments require a deposit, which will go toward your final balance. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have trouble booking online you may email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
10. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW WHEN COMING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Please remember, our salon is an adult-friendly zone. We will not have accommodations for children unless they are being serviced. Also, our waiting area has limited seating. Please limit the number of 3rd parties you bring to your appointment with you.
11. ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH ALL ETHNICITIES?
Yes, Glam by Cham is a professional and well-trained makeup artist therefore is more than comfortable working with all skin tones and carries many different shades of foundations.
12. WILL I NEED TO TOUCH UP MY MAKEUP AT ANY TIME? WHAT HAPPENS IF MY LIPSTICK WEARS OFF?
The Glam by Cham makeup application will last up to 18 hours or longer. If you tend to have oily skin, the artist will use certain products to accommodate your skin type. Water proof products will also be used. You can request a sample of lipstick to touch up if you do not own a color to use later.
13. ARE THERE EXTRA FEES FOR HOLIDAYS OR EARLY MORNING START TIMES?
Yes. The cost will increase $20 for in-studio services requested on holidays or before/after normal business hours. Weddings upcharge vary for holidays and before hours- email for more info.
14. WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept all major Credit Cards, however cash is preferred. A processing fee will apply for all credit card payments.
